X431 PRO5 itself can not work on heavy-duty vehicles, and it needs to work with Launch heavy-duty module HDIII so that can work on heavy-duty vehicles.

Just click the auto detect, the scanner read the vehicle within 5 seconds. It has many surprising features and did bi-directional control well on my BMW. A big bonus.
