I have a 2008 Subaru Outback Wagon. I need to know if I can use this tool to erase data from the ECU and erase codes in the ABS system.

Hello, thank you for your message, for vxdiag subaru it supports reading and clearing DTC for each system. Can only participate by selecting any system. Do you mean clear DTC for engine and ABS system? If yes, vxdiag subaru can supports.

VXDIAG SSM3 will reprogram VON and program Immo keys for Subaru. An online account is required for reprogramming.

I recommend this much cheaper than the real Subaru offering. I am using VXDIAG for 2019 Subaru Ascent to scan and reset SRS airbag codes, works fine so far
