There have been several instances where users are unable to update the GM SPS J2534 Wrapper. Without the updated J2534 wrapper GM SPS is unable to identify the vehicle and results in an error code E4403.
If you follow the attached instructions J2534 Wrapper will update without issue.
Open START menu and type “internet explorer”
Right‐click “Internet Explorer” and choose “Run As Administrator”
A second window will appear asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”
Choose “Yes”
You are now operating Internet Explorer with Raised Account Privileges
Once internet explorer is open navigate to www.acdelcotds.com and login to your account
Continue to your subscription as normal
Open “SPS” once you have accessed your subscription
Start SPS as you normally would
Choose “Run” when prompted for the Java application
Next prompt will be for J2534 Wrapper install
J2534 Wrapper will successfully install if you have sufficient Administrator Privileges
