Recently one of our XTOOL X100 Pad users asked us for help because his X100 Pad needed a security code. When he tried to change the line mileage and entered the function menu of the odometer correction, the X100 PAD screen appeared “Please input the security code”
How do I handle this?
Xtool X100 PAD requires the security code to be entered ONLY when using the odometer correction feature for GM car models. That means no code entry is required for other car brands and features.
When you enter the Odometer Correction function menu and select the vehicle model, the key programmer displays a code. Please send the code to us (together with the correct GM model and year of manufacture, i.e. Chevrolet Cruze 2011 + code). Our factory will calculate the security code based on the information you provide and send the code to you.
